Growth and Land Use

Carver County’s population is expected to grow from an approximately 106,000 to over 160,000 residents by 2040. I support the strategic land use planning model by continuing to concentrate the growth within the cities.

I support preserving the rich agriculture history with the one building eligibility per 40 acres.
Transportation
I support the completion of Highway 212 from Carver to Norwood Young America. We also need to continue to expand Highway 5 by making it safer and more efficient. Read the 212 Update post.
Managing the Change Together
With common sense leadership and experience, I will work for you to keep Carver County a great place to raise a family, live, educate, work, do business and play!
